Here at Beckel, we strongly believe in the spirit of repairing a product to give it a longer lifespan, for many reasons. It results in less waste, speaks to the nature of quality, and gives our products a tangible trace of their own story.
Although our products are made to last, we understand that accidents happen.
As far as our canvas tents go, we expect you to encounter many unexpected circumstances out there in the wild, whether it be the bear who wants your food, the overturned stove, or the fallen tree, life happens! We gladly offer repairs on our canvas tents if you run into any of these or if that ten year old zipper just needs a good replacing, we’ve got you covered.
LUGGAGE: We will gladly repair any luggage on our dime in order to uphold the lifetime warranty. Simply ship it to our shop and we will repair it at no cost, we just ask you cover the shipping back to you.

Repair Guidelines:
Help us to Help You. We have a very small shop and small staff. We need to perform repairs outside of normal shop hours, as we need to prep and clean so as not to compromise the the canvas of the new tents that we make.
We are not able to inspect used tents during business hours (they can “contaminate” our sewing table and we are busy with existing projects).
Clearly mark on your tent where repairs need to be made prior to drop-off (with duct tape, string, etc.) so that we are able to quickly find the repair location.
Snap any photos of the damaged areas to share with us over email.
Ensure the tent us fully dry and shaken out.
Pack your tent in a bag or box.

Timing: Repairs generally take several weeks to be completed (once we can fit them into our schedule).

Shop Rate: $75/hour

Zipper slide replacement: $50
Window repair: $75+
Window replacement each: $150+
Stove pipe hole replacement / addition: $125+
End or Wall repair: $75+
Roof repair: $90+
Tents must be dropped off fully dry, shaken out, and in a bag/box otherwise there will be an additional *shop* cleaning fee of $30. Wet tents will be turned away.
